I have a friend that won't buy pizza from any other place. She says the prices are very reasonable!

The manager couldn't explain why I was being charged $2 more than the listed price. The manager was polite and offered a refund but no explanation of $2 difference is absolutely unacdeptable. I cancelled the order. The prices are too high and I didn't need to be eating pizza anyway.

they offer special deals and make sure you don't get any special deals when it comes to your toppings I had to bring my pizza home and add access to it to make it feel like I was actually eating something

They gave me wings with sauce leaking everywhere. Caused severe grease stains on my seat and this was 20 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready. They consistently get my orders wrong.

The pizza arrived cold and the manager said it’s nothing he can do about it. The worst service ever but I will not spend my money at this location ever again.

I ordered at 8:30 and was told it would be here at 9:05. At 9:40 I called to check what the hold up was and the lady said that there had been a mix up but my delivery guy was “walking out the door now.” Then five minutes later I get a message from the grub hub driver and he said that he was still waiting. I wouldn’t have been so frustrated if the lady hadn’t just lied to me. That’s incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional.

Ill never be a customer here again the driver is supposed to deliver to your door not the parking lot and then drive off with your order because.they don't want come to your door. and then u still get charged for a order you didn't receive

My food was good and fresh I'm giving them a 5 star. Because they usually burn the crust on my pizza.

A corporate pizza chain mixed with a local vibe. Can you beat that? Plus, the food is piping hot and stays piping hot all the way to you house! Not to mention that local hospitality I mentioned. They send business to the near by convenience store for small drinks and snacks in case they do not offer an acceptable price for the school kids or other patrons.

It is not the food... It is the service/employees. I have come into this particular Papa John's the last three times and either waited 5 to 10 minutes for someone to come up to the cashier window. Or I called on the phone and ordered my pizza because no one came up to the window and just waited for puck up. And the last time I stayed there for a bit and then end up walking out because no one was at the window for a while. Wack service to the point I didn't even order.

Basically answered the phone then immediately put me on hold without any warning or explanation, I thought they hung up but realized it was hold when I heard the music. Super rude.

They will keep you on hold for 14 to 15 minutes and never seem to remember the question..which is- do you delivery at a certain address..

Called for pick-up. The person who answered the phone was friendly and informed me of the specials. I also ordered wings and I was impressed when asked if I wanted them cooked well-done.😄

It shouldn't take an hour for pizza to be delivered to an address that's literally a 10 min drive away. This is the second time I ordered from this location and it will be my last. The first time I ordered, the pizza wasn't warm. I had to come outside to get my pizza. That part I don't understand. People pay for delivery to their door. Not delivery to their parking lot, so they can come out and get their food. Delivery drivers expect a tip, yet they don't bring food to the door.I just got my pizza as I was typing this review...the box is dented and my pizza is smashed. Don't order from this location, period!

Very nasty and unsanitary. Papa johns. Awesome pizza. However, you are well advised to sign up for the rewards program so your purchases add up. This location is not a bad spot, but the lot has no security and isnt the ssafest. There are a lot of people here who reek of pot. The customer service sucks, depending in who serves you. The thinner black woman is very helpful.. the larger one with the huge earrings would just as soon ignore you.

Poor customer service two days in a row i order food from here. The first day pizza was cold and uncut. The driver was rude. Second day driver went to wrong place and called and said come out then called me crazy. Only got 1 star cause i had to put it but I would have given no stars. GM was rude.

I placed an online order at 5:30 pm and followed up around 7 pm for an expected delivery time. When I dialed the main number, it kept hanging up.

Worst experience I’ve ever had! I order 2 pizzas from the Pennsylvania Ave location at 7:30 my pizzas just got here at 10:15 and they’re hard as rocks... my children waited 3 hours for what? I’ll never order from papa john’s ever again. The staff were very rude! Just totally unprofessional Period.

I called one of the busiest days SUPER BOWL SUNDAY with multiple orders and spoke with TYEISHA (spelling 🤷🏽‍♀️) SHE WAS PATIENT EXCELLENT AND SHE NEEDS TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR HER EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! SHE DISPLAYED TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND SHOULD BE COMMENDED FOR HER OUTSTANDING QUALITY. Because of her I will continue to order from Papa John Penn Ave SE location. Have a Beautiful Blessed One. Order a medium pizza with extra sauce sausage and pepperoni. The pizza had little to no sauce and I order extra sauce, this is the second time I have order this and this has happened.

This papa John's is some trash. We placed our order at 8:48pm. By 10:30pm we still didn't have our food and I canceled it. Don't order from this papa John's there unprofessional.

Very bad over the phone experience lady on phone was rude. Saying that my address was make believe an she not going to deliver to my address etc. The address is my address same address they delivered to in past. Night staff sucks told me they needed a creditcard for carryout an delivery orders. What kind of business is being ran. Papa John's Pizza is niceand it is the check cashing place directly next door there is a convenience store right there just as well as the bank there is a gas station directly across the street Fairfax village condominium apartments is right down the hill from it the w4 bus stop is right there as well and it would take you to Congress heights station Justice Willis anacostia station and there's a gas station directly across the street from Papa John's if you need to fill up your vehicle

Customer service is horrible I asked for extra sauce on the pizza an they charged me for it an did not put it on my pizza .Also did not want to accommodate me for the mistake they did. Just dirty

Pizza was hot and cheesy with plenty pepperoni like I like it. But I also stayed in the store while it was made and checked it out before I purchased it.

I used to work for thise franchise. I must say that out of all jobs I've ever had, these guys are the most unprofessional group of workers. Management is lousy, employee attitudes do not reflect positively. I can go on and on. Bottom line, be careful at this papa johns. These guys are the type to spit in your food if you "roll your eyes" at them..smh do better

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered two pizzas online this evening. At the expected delivery time I received one phone call however the call would not go through. I sent my fiance out to retrieve the food however the driver was nowhere to be seen. We waited outside fir about 10 minutes searching for the driver but we couldn't find them. During that time I called the store to address the issue before being rudely interrupted by the manger telling me that the delivery was attempted and the driver told the manager they called four times which was untrue. The manager dismissed my complaints and told me to just wait it out for another pizza. I then had to wait another hour and a half for another delivery attempt after already waiting 40 minutes for the first pizza. The second driver went to the wrong address which was a block up the street and waited before finally calling to confirm the address. The service from the manager and delivery drivers at this location is atrocious.

Every time I order from this store it’s always an item missing. At this point they need to hire new people that will follow proper procedures when food is going out for delivery.

I wish I can screenshot my order online but Christine or Kristine the hourly rep had unbelievable horrible customer service I understand why she work for papa johns now but the overall fact that the QSR is important to this company and it was horrible. Got my pizza a hour 20 mins later also the box was cold and pizza like it was bent or toss around. The fact that I express my concern the manager he date me to go to corporate in which I am at this property store
